  1. MONICA SILVA says:

DO ALL OF THESE INCLUDE THE FRIES OR IS THIS JUST THE SANDWICH/ BURGER ALONE?

  2. Dan says:

Hi Monica, unless it specifically say that fries are included (like on some of the entrees) then it does not include fries. Now that I look at it again, it appears that I neglected to put their side items on the list above. The standard steak fries are 9 points per serving…I will update the rest of the list ASAP. Thanks!

  3. Erin says:

So, I am a little confused. Negative calorie foods burn more calories to digest than they contain. However, with the weight watcher’s plan, you are only allowed to account for up to 4 grams of fiber. So, if I eat one serving of apples it is zero points. (80 cal, and 4 gram fiber) Now if I eat 2 of these, it become one point….so can I or can I not eat all the apples I desire?? ha ha I am going to Red Robin tonight with some friends, and I want to know if I can munch on apples the whole night and be okay…

  4. Dan says:

Hi Erin, the following is from Weight Watchers site:

The truth, according to Maria Walls, Manager of Program Development for Weight Watchers International, is that “the idea of the zero-POINTS-value food was not created as such; they are the result of the calculation of the proprietary Weight Watchers formula at a particular calorie level.” The only true “zero” is a vegetable that occurs naturally from the earth. They are the only zero that when eaten by the bagful can still be called a zero. According to Maria, the idea of the “free” vegetable was created to give members a break from counting these very low-calorie foods that “generally did not contribute to weight gain.”

The other type of food with a POINTS value of zero is one that is a processed food, such as “lite” whipped topping. A two-tablespoon serving of this food—and two tablespoons of whipped topping is, generally speaking, far less than any human wants to consume!—has a POINTS value of zero. Should you ingest the second serving at that same sitting, you would need to double the calories, fat and fiber and recalculate. It quickly multiplies to 1, 2, 3 and 5 POINTS values. The tub itself contains 25 servings (which I have handily polished off in less than 24 hours). Calculated correctly, that adds up to a POINTS value of 12 for the whole container. Regardless of which plan you follow, that is one third of your POINTS allowance.

So let’s get down to the nitty-gritty. If I carefully measure my two tablespoons of whipped topping in the afternoon, calling it zero, can I eat a second serving later in the day for zero? In fact you can. Sigh of relief! Officially, the POINTS Weight-Loss System provides an allowance for “man-made” (non-veggie) zeros. The plan suggests that any member limit their servings of zeros to five a day. In the long run, your weight loss will be the guide. If weight loss is slow, you might want to pull back on the zeros. Remember all foods have calories.

  5. Polly says:

THANK YOU! I loved Red Robin but was always frustrated that nutritional info was hard to come by. I had NO IDEA I was eatiing so many calories when I ate the California Chicken Burger. I see now how I have gained so much weight the past several years. The good news is I love the chicken tortilla soup and the BLTA so thanks for guiding me toward better choices. And I’ll save up my “cheat” points for the chocolate shake sometime. ; )

  6. Dan says:

Thank for visiting, Polly. I don’t allow myself into Red Robin anymore because I would never be able to settle for anything less than my favorites. I can’t believe the Royal is almost my entire days worth of points.

Maybe once I reach my goal I can stop there once every 3 or 4 months to indulge a little bit…maybe, lol

  7. Lisa says:

What if I remove the bun and eat only the burger/chicken/whatever? How many points does that subtract?

  8. Dan says:

Hey Lisa, I just calculated the point values for the following buns but I’m not sure if these are the only ones they offer:

    Sesame bun – 5 points (250 calories, 4 fat, 2 fiber)
    Onion bun – 5 points (250 calories, 4 fat, 2 fiber)
    Ciabatta Bun – 5 points (240 calories, 2 fat, 2 fiber)

Hope this helps and thanks for visiting!!

  9. Sandra says:

Just FYI….. the BLTA Croissant listed under sandwiches is NOT 8 points, it’s 18 points.

  10. Jessica says:

Point system has changed and this list would need potien to also be a factor in the points it’s worth.

  11. Dan says:

Hi Jessica. You are correct, the values above are only good for the old point system (prior to December 2010). I am in the process of changing the site to accomodate the new and old systems but it will be a slow process as I am just one person and there is a ton of info that needs to be updated 🙂

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to leave a comment

  12. Darlene says:

Red Robin also has petite burgers available at most locations even if they don’t have it on the menu. Can you tell me what the calorie, fat and point difference would be with the petite burger instead? I believe it is a 1/6 lb burger.

  13. Dan says:

Hey Darlene, thanks for visiting. Sorry but I could not find any nutrition info on the petite burgers at Red Robin…

  14. Kerrry says:

The petitie burgers are the same as the kids burgers(rad burger). Buns are made by freihofers and there is sesame, wheat, white, rye, chibatta, and onion. Also, there is rye and white bread offered.

  15. Dan says:

    Thanks Kerrry! 🙂

  16. NIcole says:

I just started with the points, and had a quick question…I had the Cobb Salad at RR tonight had them take OFF the olives, bleu cheese, bacon and I only ate 1/2 the ranch they gave me on the side.
How many points did I shave off? Thanks I will be back here often!! 🙂

  17. Dan says:

Hi Nicole, here is what I come up with:

First, this page is a little out dated and the numbers above do not exactly match the new numbers on RR’s site

Standard Cobb Salad = 17 points (no dressing)
Cobb Salad without olives, bleu cheese and bacon = 11 points

2 ounces of Ranch dressing adds 3 points to the numbers above. If you only used half I would count it as 2 points so the grand total for you salad comes to 13 points. Hope this helps and thanks for visiting!
