Hi all, I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that for the time being I have disabled commenting on the site.

This is due to the large amount of spam comments that I have to sift through to find the legitamate ones. In the last 2 months I have been getting about 200 spam comments each day. Since I usually don't respond to the comments everyday I sometimes have close to 1000 comments to go through and find the ones that really pertain to the site. This has led to the rest of the site suffering from neglect.

I'd like to open up the commenting again in the future but for the time being you may still join us in the forum or contact me directly using the link at the top of the page.

Thank you all for using the site and I'm truly sorry for this inconvenience.

OK.

You all have motivated me to begin WW. I have calculated my points (24). I will start the program tomorrow.

From what I know, it's just going to take a few moments of planning on my part.

I'm glad the calculator is over there on the side.
And, I will add a WW Points Tracker App on my phone tonight.

I will check back for KitKatt's progress.

Greetings and Salutations!

First I'd like to say great job to those who have pressed on with ww! Especially the moms out there! It's encouraging :)......Ok so I started WW on my own as well on June 10 & have only lost 4lbs. :(. I started adding exercise (about 45mins). I had a baby 9mos ago and I was only 10lbs over what I weighed before I got pregnant. My father-in-law suffered a stroke in May and I had lost 4lbs within 4 days due to the horrible time in the family.. I noticed I looked different but gained the 4lbs back. I'm a very petite person, just under 5ft. So any kind of weight gain can be noticeable to a short person like me. :(....Could it be that it is taking me longer to lose the extra pounds because I didn't 'weigh a lot' before starting ww? I wanted to lose only 8lbs within a month and I've only lost about half of it.

Hi Dawn, I'm not really that familiar with the specifics of PointsPlus but that does seem a little weird that they don't account for nursing moms...I do know that when you use one of the new PointsPlus calculators to determine your daily point allowance it does not ask about that either, only sex, age, height and weight. Maybe since the new minimum is a lot higher than the old it is safe either way, but I'm really not sure. Maybe one of the other readers can jump in with some help

Hi MJ, thanks for visiting. Were you doing weight watchers the first time that you lost the 100 pounds or did you follow a different plan? If you are planning on starting weight watchers I think that a cleanse like the Jillian one might be a good way to get started. You'll have to let us know how that works out for ya, as well as letting us know how the weight loss is going once in awhile. Hope to hear from you soon :-)

This is an awesome site! I'm doing WW PointsPlus to lose baby weight (he's 4 months now) and I have a question about the points they gave me (again, the new PointsPlus). They calculated me at 29 even though I checked the box that says I'm a nursing mom. Does that seem right? If so, I'm happy to do it, but somewhere I read that 29 is the newest "lowest" target, so how can that account for nursing my little one? Thanks so much and, again, very motivating site!
