Hi again, Bonnie.

3 pounds is a great start to WW, many people lose more than that in the first week. As long as you are sticking to your point allowance you will be fine. You may have another big loss next week to but it will start to even out and then you can count on about 1 to 2 pounds a week after that. Keep up the good work!

Hi, I started doing WW on my own on Monday of this week. i have already removed 3 pounds and it is saturday. do you think that is normal or am i removing to much weight too fast? I exercise daily and use all of my daily points. I also drink eight glasses of water a day. Thanks a lot for this website and your reply.

Hello Dan,

Thx I think I've got the answer.
The US uses lb and we use St, that makes a difference when calcutating the allowence ;-)

Welcome to the site all!

Ronda - WOW!! 10 pounds is awesome! Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged when that number starts to get lower.

Dee - The flex points are the 35 weekly bonus points that were refered to in the last paragraph above. In a nutshell, you have 35 extra points that you are allowed to eat each week to help get you through the hard times. Try not to use them if you don't have to and don't divide them up giving yourself 5 extra points each day. If you use them sparingly (only special occasions) you will be fine

Noe - The info listed on this site is definitely from the US version of the program. I'm not sure how well it compares with the Irish version, I guess I assumed it would be the same. In our version the least amount of points allowed is 18. Maybe you could stop by one of your meeting centers to see if they could explain the difference. Sorry I couldn't help :-(

Hi I'm Danielle, I just started WW on my own today. I can't afford to go to meetings. I figured out I have 22 points per day, I want to loose 20 lbs by November. My mom used to do weight watchers and she said something about Flex Points? What are they and how do they work?

Hi Again jackie! That is true about the sauce, but remember, for multiple servings (more than 1/2 cup) you will start to accumulate points.

If done right, you definitely will not starve while doing weight watchers!
