While more of the 2,200 square foot restaurant’s business comes from take-out, the space can seat up to 40 dine-in customers comfortably. When the owner, Ms. Chen, first opened the restaurant in 1996, Main Moon was the only Chinese restaurant in town. The unbeatable quality, reasonable prices, and large portions keep customers coming back for more. The restaurant specializes is savory Cantonese cuisine; however, the dishes are prepared a little lighter in flavor to suit the locals tastes. According to Ms. Chen, the dishes are far superior to those served at other Chinese restaurants because only fresh chicken is used and all of the sauces and condiments are homemade. Diners can also choose from a variety of healthy dishes on the menu. Some of the more popular selections are the Home Style Bean Curd and Buddhist Delight Sauted Mixed Vegetables. Additionally, most of the dishes on the menu are cooked by stir-frying with little oil, salt, and chicken powder.
