Weight Watchers SmartPoints Coming Soon to the Restaurant Pages
Weight Watchers SmartPoints will be coming soon to the restaurant pages. Adding the SmartPoints info to the restaurant pages will be a huge undertaking for me as the only person that works on the site so please be patient. This will also require a new format for the restaurant pages. Below is a sample of what the new pages will look like. The biggest change is that in order to see the nutrition information used to calculate the Point totals you will have to move your mouse pointer over the item name and the info will pop up. This will not work on mobile devices but I know most people are just looking for the Point info only. Let me know in the comment section what you thing of the new page design…and thanks for checking in!Tweet

This is a wonderful site and so helpful. God Bless You!
Thank you Denise!!
Thank you Dan. I appreciate your help. Question: No instructions on smartspoints tracking–my food, and my weight. I can’t figure out how to do it. Please help me if you can. Thank you!!
Hi Mary, I do not have any program information for the new SmartPoints program. At this point I am only providing SmartPoint values for restaurant items using a SmartPoints Calculator. If you are going to try to do WW on your own, I would recommend doing the old (pre-2010) points program. There is a ton of free info available for it and many, many people were very successful following it.
If you are sure you would rather follow the newer SmartPoints program (it is supposed to be a healthier option), I would recommend signing up for the program (at least temporarily) and getting as much information as you can before going off on your own. Sorry I couldn’t be of more assistance
Thank you Dan. I appreciate your help. Question: No instructions on smartspoints tracking–my food, and my weight. I can’t figure out how to do it. Please help me if you can. I am not the slowest person on internet programs, or weight watchers, but nobody seems to know how to answer my question. I realize what you are doing, step by step, so I’ll keep trying to figure it out myself. Thanks anyway. Best of luck!!
Love the ease of finding food point values! Life-saver and time-saver. Thank you for the work you are doing to help people!
Thanks Rhonda!
I just love this site! So easy to follow and so much information. Thank you for making this available!
Thanks Amanda!!
I may be your oldest member of your site, but I am so excited to have found you! I’m 67 and for most of my life have been in good health…..until the past year! I will be following WW to lose a lot of pounds and correct several medical issues that have cropped up as my weight went up! I have been on the weight watcher’s program many, many moons ago and it was fantastic! But as life happens, I went back to my old ways of eating! I’m retired now on a fixed income, and wish it was as easy and less expensive now, as it was when I was 40 years younger, to lose the weight!
Thank you so much for the work you’ve done on this site! It is God sent for me!
Welcome to the site, Linda. Actually, based on the emails I get, I think your age range is about average for my site users. Best wishes to you and thanks for the kind words about the site!
I quit smoking nearly 4 yrs.ago, which is great! Not so great, I packed on 30lbs. I am now 62 yrs. old and am finding that losing weight is tough to do as we age. I am hoping WW will help me lose the weight. I’m not sure how to calculate my needed points, though. I’m 62, female, 5’5″, 139lbs. My activity level is low, though I am planning to start walking. I have researched and the best I can figure is I need 20-26 points. Can you show me how to get an accurate #? The effort you put into this site is AMAZING and much appreciated.
i am glad i found this site because my food book is packed away and dont know all the foods were i live that they cook so now i can start loosing weight again
Hi Libby, I’m so sorry that I missed your comment. In the RH column there is a link that says “Daily Points Quiz”…that is where you can go to calculate how many points you are allowed per day. Using the info that you provided I come up with 18 points (including 2 for activity) which is also the least amount allowed per day. There is more info on that page about the bonus points and adjusting your point allowance. Thanks for visiting!
Thank You for the Points Plus Values…
I reached my goal weight in September 2012, and, unfortunately, I’ve gained it back… Your Points Plus Values page is INSTRUMENTAL in my getting back on track… I so appreciate your having done these calculations as it is making things so much easier for me…
I am so glad I found this page. This is extremely helpful and I’ve only just begun! Thank-you so much Dan.
Hello and thank you. I used WW a few years ago and I actually got to my goal weight. However, I’ve inched back up and I need to get this weight back off me. Thanks for this information. It will save me a lot of time and money.
Hi Gilda…I’m glad you found the site and best wishes with your goals!
Wow…This sight is wonderful. I use the Weight Watchers Mobile app to track and this is a great place to get point values without having to constantly calculate the nutritional value. I look up something everyday and have shared it with my WW leader. Keep up the good work!!
I’m trying to find the restaurant , Marie Calanders and it’s not listed. Can you please list it for me and others? Thank you
Hi…just discovered this great resource as a new WW participant. Wondering if there is an easy way to PRINT the whole list to add to my WW cookbook recipe binder I’m making?
Thanks for making this GREAT site !!
Brian
Hi Dan. First I want to take the time to thank you for everything you have done to help so many people. At 54 yrs. old,6’0” and 312 I have found myself in a bad situation with my weight and health. I do all of our cooking at home and I must say when it comes to country cooking I’m pretty good! But it’s not healthy at all. My problem is how to figure points into the homemade stuff I make. I want to use the old points system, but I do not know how to calculate my recipies. Can you help please! Thanks again for your time.
Hi Brian, The only way I can think to print the lists out would be copying and pasting…but I think that would be a lot of work. Sorry I don’t have a better solution
Hey Bruce, sorry for the delayed response. If you do a Google search for “recipe nutrition calculator” you will find there are quite a few sites that will let you enter in all of your ingredients and it will calculate the nutrition info. Then you can enter the info from that into a weight watchers point calculator. It’s a pain in the beginning but make sure you write down the info each time you do a recipe and you won’t have to do it again. Hope this helps you out and best wishes!
Any idea if points for Chilli. I did see chilli there but no size ( lrg or sm )
