have been on weight watchers for 6 months. I admit i have not been following the plan to detail. The fact is I lost ten pounds and I do enjoy the support, however the $40.00 a month could be spent on other things. What should I do ? quit and follow the plan or stay on and enjoy the support?

I think you should stick with it, assuming you actually need to lose the weight (lots of people have a poor self image). Have you introduced any exercise into your weekly routine? If not you should start off with some light exercises for 20-30 minutes 3 times a week. This will help kick start your metabolism and motivation.
My wife stuck to it through the hard times (weeks that she gained and/or cheated) and has lost around 50 lbs. Now she is a lifetime member. Maybe you should try to find a friend to join with you to help keep you motivated. It should be more about your health than the $40 dollars a month. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
