Help with Weight Watchers?
Help with Weight Watchers? by Cherrypie
Okay i have a problem. I’ve been on weight watchers now for about three weeks. I’ve been working out for a month for 40 minutes to 1 hour a day. I’ve only taken two days off. I still haven’t lost any weight. According to weight watchers a person who’s 5’1 and 120 pounds should eat 18-23 points a day. My usual food consumption consists of…Breakfast: A Light english muffin, 1 cup of plain oatmeal, and either grapes or strawberries. Snack: 17 low calorie special k crackers-90 calories total Lunch: Sandwich with two tablespoons of weight watchers whipped cream cheese (two tablespoons=60 calories) and a slice of turkey. The bread is whole wheat with 5 grams of fiber per slice and some grapes. Snack- fruit or a weight watchers cookie (1 point) Dinner- Usually grilled chicken with vegetables. Or something to that nature. Usually after counting my points I end up at 24. Do you think those extra couple of points would cause me not to lose weight?? I’m getting very frustrated because I’m working so hard. Any advice??

Hi! It sounds like you are doing everything right, and at 120 lbs, I would say that you probably don’t need to lose very much weight if any. I’m no expert but on “Biggest Loser” a week or so ago, there was a young man (brown team) that was having problems losing the weight no matter how hard he tried. The trainer suggested that he actually “up” his calorie intake to kick start his metabolism. He lost 13 lbs that week. I would try researching that a little…
Don’t give up on the exercise or Weight Watchers. My wife lost 48 lbs and has kept it off for 2 years. And even if you don’t lose weight, with that regiment you are sure to never gain weight!
